Company History
K & S has been licensed and building on Maui since 2002. Previously we were licensed and building in Seattle Washington for 5 years. The owners of K & S (Andrew Keenan and Stacey Middleton) were approached by one of our clients while working in Seattle who had recently purchased a house on Maui. They could not find a local contractor who would give them a realistic budget or schedule. We were asked if we would do the job, so we packed up for a six month working vacation on Maui. Three days after landing here, we knew we would never leave. The rest is history.
Andrew Keenan, co-founder and project manager is a structural engineer with a degree from University of Colorado. Prior to starting K & S, Andrew worked at Sverdrup Civil Inc. as a structural engineer. He spent four years as a design engineer, plus four years in the field as a project engineer for several multimillion dollar projects.
Stacey Middleton, co-founder and business manager studied to be an American Sign Language Interpreter at the University of Washington. Prior to starting K & S, Stacey worked for eight years as a manager for local businesses in Seattle. |
